We’re less than two hours away from the start of the 2022 NFL Draft, which feels like a good time to publish my final mock draft. Unlike previous years, this is actually the only mock draft I published this year. I’ve tinkered with my rankings and my mock draft over on the FantasyPros expert platform over the last few weeks, but I never actually clicked published on any of them until right now.
I’ve watched the odds over the last couple of weeks and especially over the last couple of days and have adjusted some of my selections accordingly. Because this is a bit of a strange draft class without a ton of consensus top picks, one pick could throw off the rest of the draft. We could easily see a run on edge rushers and/or a run on offensive linemen in the Top 10, and it’s possible we see a half-dozen cornerbacks and zero running backs drafted in the first round.
Here is how I see things playing out, but I expect one early pick to cause a ripple effect that shakes up the rest of the first round.
