Eagles Week 2 Inactives

  • This means that both Landon Dickerson and Marcus Epps are active today. Dickerson will be making his NFL debut and could appear in select sets on offense, while Epps has apparently recovered enough from his concussion to be active and likely start on defense.
  • Rodney McLeod still isn’t ready, so Epps being active is a big boost to the defense.
  • Jack Driscoll, Tyree Jackson, and Josiah Scott are all on injured reserve and will miss at least the first three weeks of the season.
  • Gardner Minshew is the third quarterback and is likely to be inactive most weeks, barring injury.
  • Mac McCain was recently acquired by the Eagles.
  • Davion Taylor is active after being inactive for Week 1. He could see action on special teams and in select sets on defense.
  • Jimmy Kempski has an interesting note on Brett Toth being inactive:

  • Emmanuel Moseley being out means the 49ers will be without both of their starting cornerbacks, as Jason Verrett is done for the season with a torn ACL. Josh Norman is starting at cornerback for San Francisco.
  • Running back Raheem Mostert is also done for the season and is set to undergo knee surgery.
  • With Mostert out, Elijah Mitchell and Trey Sermon should share duties at running back, with Mitchell likely receiving the heavier workload. Jeff Wilson is on the PUP list.
  • The 49ers had a few defensive lineman listed on the injury report earlier in the week, but they are all active and none are expected to be limited.
