State of The Eagles: Week 18

The Eagles survived another slow start in a 20-16 win in Washington. Philadelphia was down 10-0 in the second quarter, and went into halftime trailing 16-7. The Eagles could not get anything going offensively, and Washington seemed to move the ball with ease. After halftime, the Eagles were able to get their act together and come out on top.

State of the Eagles: Week 16

The Philadelphia Eagles hosted the Washington Football Team on Tuesday night; the beloved birds came out victorious with a score of 27-17. Washington came into this game decimated from COVID-19 cases, which is why the game was played on Tuesday night rather than Sunday. The birds came out flat against Washington, allowing Washington to jump out to a 10-0 lead. The Eagles finally started putting things together from the 2nd quarter forward, scoring 20 unanswered points.

State of the Eagles: Week 14

The Philadelphia Eagles traveled to MetLife Stadium once again; this time to face the New York Jets. The Eagles came into this game having never lost to the Jets in franchise history, and they kept that streak alive, winning by a score of 33-18. The offense performed well under Gardner Minshew, who took over the reigns for this game due to a Jalen Hurts injury that kept him sidelined during the entirety of the game.

State of the Eagles: Week 12

The Philadelphia Eagles finally got their first home win, knocking off the Trevor Siemian-led New Orleans Saints on Sunday. The Eagles rushing attack gashed the Saints the entire game; the Eagles run game was virtually unstoppable. The final score of the game was 40-29, with the Eagles surviving a late-game attempt at a comeback from the Saints.

State of the Eagles: Week 11

The Eagles cruised to a 30-13 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday which now improves their record to 4-6 on the season. The offense was humming the entire game with 386 total yards, 214 of which came on the ground. Philadelphia looked like a competitive and competent football team on Sunday, dismantling a Denver Broncos team who has swept the three other teams in the NFC East.
