Philadelphia lost a lopsided game against the Dallas Cowboys by a score of 51-26. Although that score is never one that you want to see, the score is in no way indicative of where the Eagles are at as a team, due to the fact that the Cowboys played their starters throughout the majority of the game whereas the Eagles rested most of their starters.
Congratulations to everyone who made it this far. Though there was a large amount of mediocrity this season, the lack of a clear favorite arguably encapsulates the full beauty of the sport. The Eagles survived another slow start in a 20-16 win in Washington. Philadelphia was down 10-0 in the second quarter, and went into halftime trailing 16-7. The Eagles could not get anything going offensively, and Washington seemed to move the ball with ease. After halftime, the Eagles were able to get their act together and come out on top.
